I’ve recently been driven to create more Jewish art. For me, for you, for whoever wants a beautiful and meaningful piece to hang in their home. My goal is to have more positive representation and pride in everything that it means to be Jewish. It’s an identity, culture, religion, people…however you want to frame it. It is all of those things and more.
Tolerance seems to come and go in waves. I first learned the word and concept of tolerance from my mom (@drtalleead) when I was a kid. We were on our way to the Museum of Tolerance. An experience that is hard to forget. And I hope the world doesn’t forget the lessons of our past. I hope tolerance continues to grow and be embraced for everyone.
We all need to approach every interaction with compassion, respect, and awareness for our shared humanity. Even when we slip up, internally or externally. Even when we let our emotions get the best of us. It’s never too late to begin again.
